Located on Km 53 of the Iquitos Nauta road in the Peruvian Amazon, just one hour travel from the city of Iquitos, our Shamanism Center and Jungle Lodge sits on 180 acres of privately owned primary forest, a perfect setting of peace and serenity for shamanic workshops. Walking trails offer our guests a great opportunity of seeing a variety of exotic and colorful wildlife during their stay.

Blue Morpho specializes in shamanic workshops and spiritual tours. We work with traditional shamans (curanderos, medicine men and women) who practice the ancient and mystical shamanic arts of the jungle. The shamans conduct ceremonies and rituals, many of which utilize the use of sacred visionary medicinal plants, designed to open consciousness and bridge the physical and spiritual world. Our Shamanic Workshops and tours are designed to teach our guests about the mystical world of the jungle, taking them “back in time” to a place where traditional beliefs remain intact. The focus of the workshops are to work through the realms of Spirit using a variety of techniques to learn and spiritually transform at the same time.
Hamilton Souther (owner) leads the shamanic tours. He has studied shamanism in California, Cusco, and the Amazon, including an apprenticeship in the jungle.
